NHL Playoffs Continued

In my last blog I listed the NHL teams that made the playoffs. The teams were;

LA Kings
Vancouver Canucks
San Jose Sharks
St. Louis Blues
Chicago Blackhawks
Phenix Coyotes
Detroit Red Wings
Ottawa Senators
New York Rangers
Washington Capitals
Boston Bruins
New Jersey Devils
Florida Panthers
Philadelphia Flyers
Pittsburgh Penguins

The players of these teams played VERY well! With setting new records multiple times. Some of the new records include most goals scored in a series, Closest series (every game was within one goal , and series was a 4-3 series).
The teams listed above gave great shows, with many upsets along the way. The L.A Kings ( 8th place in the normal season ) beat out the Vancouver Canucks ( 1st place in the normal season ). The New York Rangers eat out the cup defenders from last year, the Boston Bruins. Even though there were many upsets, all the teams played VERY WELL!

The teams left in the playoffs after the first round are;

LA Kings
St.Louis Blues
Nashville Predators
Phoenix Coyotes
Washington Capitals
New York Rangers
New Jersey Devils
Philadelphia Flyers

These teams i'm sure will continue to amaze as the playoffs go on, But without any Canadian teams left, it is hard to decide which team to cheer for. Although there are no canadian teams, i'm sure the Cup will still spend most of its time within Canada, as most of the players for the teams listed above are Canadian.

Again, here is the link for the NHL Playoff standings;
