BSS Rugby 2012

This blog will be about my school - BSS - and the sports team thats going to go hard on the field - RUGBY-.

BSS has been very close to the gold medal for the past 3 years. Each time making it to the semi-finals. We work hard each year to get better and hopefully this will be our year to win, seeing how this is my last year to play for BSS I hope we win. I have been playing rugby for BSS the past 3 years, and it would have been my fourth but we did not have a team my grade year. Last year we had an unbelievable team and everyone made my Grade 11 year amazing, and I was devastated to see it end. Practice was fun and enjoyable, rather then annoying and hard. The coach was amazing and will be greatly missed as he moved to Vancouver last summer. I hope to be able to make the students playing this year have a fun and enjoyable time just as i did when i was in their position. Our new coach is amazing and has been coaching other teams around the kingston area for some time now, last year he coached the team we still beat, but they put up a hell of a fight.

For BSS this will be my last season, but for rugby in itself will continue to see my as I will tryout for the St.Lawrence Rugby team next year.

Saving....What YOU Need to Know...

TODAY I SHALL BE TALKING ABOUT SAVING...

NO! I do not mean saving you're money, but I  mean saving your work!

Today in class i decided i needed to start my essay that was due in about 30 mins, so I started it and it was going quiet well, almost at my 350 word min. I decided that I would save my work after I reached my goal. At the same time i was thinking this, my prof. thought it would be funny to take over my computer. As it was a funny joke...it ended up making all of my work, be deleted. Now it was all fun and games until i hit realization, I did not save it...

Now it wasn't all bad as I got a free donut, but i had to start over.
The assignment was late, and actually I decided to write this blog before sending it to my prof. Which might not have been the best idea, but I needed to do this... Also Re-Writing your assignments will help you understand the material better as you will have to write it twice. Now after reading this, I hope you all understand...YOU NEED TO SAVE YOUR WORK!!!

BLOG NUMBER 3!!!!!

Today i will be ranting on the facts about Tyler, the Creator.

Tyler, the Creator is a odd artist. He is a rapper but has his own style, he makes fun of people and has really catchy music. It confuses me because he came out of nowhere!!! As well as 'Hopsin' tyler has risen from nothing into instant fame. The music is creative and interesting. With some music you just listen to and blank out listening to the beat, but with TTC you listen to the words. His lyrics are funny and his videos are even better! I'v watched all of them and i will continue to do the same with his future videos as they are all random and funny. I'v found that his music is not for everyone but is great for me!

At the end of this post I will link some music videos and songs to show anyone who would like to see what i am talking about, they are completely random.

Social Media and Today!!!

Today ill be talking about how, pretty much everything runs around 'Social Media' .

When you look at the way the world runs today, you find that almost everyone is connected over a social media site. It doesn't matter if its 'Facebook' , 'Twitter' , 'Tumblr' , Etc. they all connect you to everyone. "We had 845 Million monthly active users at the end of December 2011" - States on Facebook statistics.
845 million users AT THE END OF DECEMBER 2011, not only is this 'Active' users, but its only an amount that will continue to grow. Also, it states that b" Facebook has 450 Million users on mobile devices!

The facts are facts, which show that the companies that are facebook and twitter, etc. are pretty much holding your information forever. Once you create an account they will hold your information forever.

For Example;

If you delete your facebook account one day, then for some reason you have to go back on it a week later, or a year later, you can RE-activate the account. You will have all of your information and feed back from where you deleted the account...

This is a vast topic for a single blog so i may have to include it in later blogs, but for now, that is all!

Jake Petel - Music

Music is what I will be bloging about this week, as well as some rants. :)

When you look at todays music its based on being a dance type music, and im not saying that, that type of music is bad or anything. BUT its not what I want to lissen to all the time. Some music is good music for thoes gaps in time but personaly i think that there should be more of it. if you look at the older generations of music theres countless rock bands and groups or even solo artists that made REALLY great music that is still great to dance too and still has the sound that withstands todays music. For some examples there are ; The Beatles , Led Zepplin , Red Hot Chili Peppers , ACDC , Pink Floyd , The Eagles , Bob Marley , The doors , The Who , B.B King , Rush , AND SOOOOOOOOOOO MANY MORE!!!!!! All of these bands are still amazing and fun to dance to and lissen to when you dont want to dance. 

Now there are DJ's and hip-hop artists. There are still some groups and bands as well. If you look at the BPM ( Beats Per Min. ) you will see that they pretty much average at 125 BMP. 125 BPM is the perfect amount that people want to start dancing to! Im not dissing any of these artists!!!!!! in fact i love some of it! but in my OPINION i love the oldies.

Any music that you like is your opinion, you can lissen to Rush - LMFAO - Maddona - B.B King , i really dont care. Music is Music. Music gets you threw anything. If you want to get over a bad break up, lissen to some music that fits your situation. If you just won your football Championship then lissen to music that fits that situation, Music is what you choose it to be, and it will be there for you no matter what...
